Janis [Yanis], the founder of Realode, first connected to the internet in 2004. A young teenager in a foreign country, he was mind-blown by the ability to connect with people far away in his homeland and started his digital journey of learning the World Wide Web. It’s a learning-by-doing journey that hasn’t stopped since. On this journey, he met a university classmate Giang [Zang], who became a freelance partner and then the cofounder of a little web agency in Bonn, Germany, that was meant to grow far beyond the small town.
This initial collaboration laid the foundation of Realode, which brings high-quality and secure technology with a coherent UX-first design approach. In 2024, Giang decided to pursue the journey of an artist, while Janis set out to reshape the company into a global agency, embracing a broader range of services and cutting-edge technology while staying true to the concept of delivering only high-quality and secure solutions.

Technical Director
Janis has been writing code and building websites and apps since he was 15 years old. He has seen the internet evolve and worked with different solutions. He knows how to explain complex technical matters in simple words, so you know what we are doing behind the scenes.
Besides, he is an expert in China and Southeast Asian Studies, which brings extraordinary adaptability and cultural insight into our business.
